FASSCO International Introduces Chef Ron Sabatini, Culinary Coach Consultant & John Giambarresi, Healthcare Food Service Executive To Their Operations at DHA’s Latifa Hospital To Further Enhance The Culinary Offerings
Chef Ron Sabatini is a seasoned food service expert with over 30 years of culinary management expertise in healthcare and hospitality. Ron is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University, with a degree in the Science of Culinary Arts. He is a Certified Executive Chef and a member of the American Culinary Federation since 1981 and has held the position of Executive Chef at elite retirement communities and several prestigious hospitals in the United States of America.
With his high energy, cheerful outlook, and inspirational management style and experience, Ron will assist in elevating FASSCO’s Catering offerings at Latifa Hospital, and help the operations become the benchmarked operations.
John Giambarresi’s professional experience runs the gamut of food service and food service design. And, he is an Associate Professor, teaching Food Service Management at Labouré College in Dorchester, MA. John has directed and designed operational space for all segments of healthcare food service.
He has successfully adopted the food service style and functionality of fine hotels to the Senior Living & Healthcare sector. John is the President and CEO of Creative Dining Solutions and has worked on various distinguished projects.

Together Chef Ron Sabatini and John Giambarresi will be focusing on the following areas during their tenure with FASSCO International at Latifa Hospital in Dubai:
- Recommending improvements for the Patient Tray Line and reviewing current processes and procedures with SOP, and making the necessary changes in consultation with DHA.
- Recommending improvements for Patient Meal Services including service, clearance and other special requests.
- Recommending improvements in the main kitchen including meal planning, ordering and workflow.
Recommending improvements for the Cafeteria. - Presenting international best practices and what could be incorporated at Latifa Hospital.
- Recommending format efficiencies including checklists that can be implemented for process improvement.
Implementing plan for rollout of CBORD.
